Terms of Use
These Terms govern the PDFind website, Microsoft Excel add-in, licensing service and support. PDFind is operated by Yevhenii Shevchuk in Poland (“PDFind”, “we”). Contact eugene@pdfind.io. By using PDFind, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
PDFind extracts text, values and tables from digital or scanned PDFs into Excel and retains source references. OCR and parsing can contain errors. You must review output before relying on it for accounting, tax, legal, audit, safety or other important decisions.
2. Accounts and documents
You must use an account you are entitled to control and have the right to access each PDF and workbook. A PDFind plan never grants access to a document: Microsoft 365, OneDrive and SharePoint permissions continue to control access. You are responsible for document confidentiality, extracted data, workbook sharing and compliance with applicable law.
3. Plans
View is free after Microsoft sign-in and allows review of source-linked documents the user is authorized to access. View includes a Create evaluation with three unique PDFs and one persistently saved PDF. Buying Create and being assigned a Create seat require a work or school Microsoft account; a personal Microsoft account can sign in and use View, including this evaluation, but always stays on View. Reopening the same fingerprint does not consume another slot, and deletion does not restore an allowance. Create Monthly costs EUR 12 per user per month; Create Annual costs EUR 120 per user per year; Create 2-Year costs EUR 230 per user for a two-year term. Create plans remove creation limits while active, subject to reasonable technical and anti-abuse controls. There is no separate time-limited trial.
4. Billing and cancellation
Paid subscriptions are purchased, billed, renewed and cancelled through Microsoft Marketplace. Taxes, local currency and refund procedures follow the Marketplace order and mandatory law. After suspension, expiration or cancellation, the entitlement returns to View.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use PDFind unlawfully, infringe rights, bypass plan or authentication controls, disrupt the service, distribute malware, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, or present extracted output as verified by PDFind.
6. Ownership
PDFind's original software, design, brand and documentation belong to the operator or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable plan. You retain rights in your documents and extracted data. PDFs and extracted text are not used to train AI models.
7. Availability
Features and technical requirements may change. Maintenance, incidents and third-party services can cause interruptions. No uptime commitment applies unless a separate written service-level agreement says otherwise.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, PDFind is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant error-free OCR, table recognition, search or formatting. You must retain source documents, backups and appropriate review controls. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PDFind is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, business, goodwill or data, or decisions based on unreviewed output. Aggregate liability for a paid plan is limited to amounts paid for the affected user during the preceding 12 months; for View it is EUR 50. Limits do not apply where law prohibits limitation, including fraud or willful misconduct.
10. Termination and law
You may stop using View or manage paid subscriptions through Marketplace. We may suspend access for material breach, unlawful use, non-payment, security risk or legal requirement. Polish law governs these Terms without removing mandatory consumer protections. Contact us first so we can try to resolve disputes informally.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational or product reasons. The effective date will change and material changes will be communicated as required.
